The Chill-Its 6705CT Cooling Headband features advance PVA (polyvinyl alcohol) cooling technology and a secure hook & loop closure for comfortable relief in extreme heat. Lightweight and low-profile, this bandana is perfect for wear around the neck, on the head or under hard hats. A hook & loop closure in the back makes for an adjustable, snug fit on a variety of head sizes. Heat-related illness continuously ranks among the top causes of worksite accidents and fatalities. Evaporative cooling technologies such as PVA are a simple, effective and comfortable solution for heat stress prevention. Similar to how sweat cools the body, evaporative technologies use an external water source to draw heat away—helping to regulate body temperature while providing cool relief. When activated, this PVA cooling bandana is comfortable and refreshing for even the hottest days of the year. HOW TO ACTIVATE Run the PVA bandana under water or soak it for 2-5 minutes or until saturated, wring out excess water and wave to activate with airflow. Wear bandana on head for four hours of cooling relief. The PVA material will dry stiff like a sponge—simply rewet until soft to reactivate. Machine wash as needed and hang to dry.
